A 6 look RTW collection drawing inspiration from hand sourced vintage garments. Leather gloves was a starting point resulting in draped continuous hem lines, pearl buttons and button holes as decorative and functional features.

The word, ‘interdigitate’ tells the story of this collection. The imagery of two hands interlocking illustrate the hand sewn insertion stitch details and continuous, looping hems seen throughout, highlighting the symbolism of the gloved hand. The gloved potential to be animate and inanimate- becoming a surrealist object when separated from the body is a theme that is reoccurring at Nacchara Studio.
